Born into a family of traditional cajun musicians Kirby Domingue developed his musical style both at home and seeped in the heavy rock and roll of the early 80’s. As a kid he played in school as the world’s smallest tuba player and in church bands until his heavy metal influences got found out. After irritating the neighbors with his constant guitar playing, he was offered a job and began his career as an electrician, as the electric company next door that grew tired of Smoke on the Water. As an musician and a electrician Kirby is also one hell of a sound guy and has run sound for many bands and venues. Over the course of 40 years he has played in just about every type of local band from Two Blue to Black Feratu. Grandfather Swampwolf grew out of a 20 year songwriting collaboration with Bobby Joe Kubelka.
