Bobby Joe Kubelka is an original Louisiana Swamp Rock pioneer, and a genuine musical tour de force! As a recent inductee into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, Bobby Joe brings nearly four decades of stage and studio experience to his role as the front man for “GrandFather SwampWolfe”. A prolific singer, songwriter and harmonica player, Bobby Joe’s original recordings span a wide range of styles; including Swamp Rock, Blues, R&B, Swamp Pop and more. Whether driving a song with his soaring vocals or belting out a killer solo on harp, Bobby Joe rules the stage with relentless energy and undeniable talent. A true performers-performer, Bobby Joe’s talent and stage presence are tailor-made for the heavy blues and rock repertoire “GrandFather SwampWolfe” is famous for.

A native of South Louisiana, Bobby Joe was a founding member of “ Blacdog”; a pioneering Swamp Rock power group from the 70’s,  that signed a multi-album deal through Buddy King with Capitol Records. “Blacdog” included Jimmy Domengeaux, Randy Hale, Eddie Bodin, and Gregg (Heavy Dude) Broussard. In addition, Bobby Joe was the founder and leader of one of Louisiana’s most successful dance/club bands;

”The Shakerz” from South Louisiana. Including a successful album release and tour with Louisiana’s own “2 Blue”, and a recent release of original compositions with fellow songwriter and producer, Jeff Tyler.

Bobby Joe  has contributed well over 100 studio recordings and has penned several albums of original music during his career. Bobby Joe is the founder of Signature Blues Tracking Studios and Swampwolfe Publishing Company, where he spends much of his time creating new music and pioneering new ways to bring the flavor of Louisiana-based music to the people of the world.
